A couple weeks ago, I got the opportunity to be a guest on one of my favorite podcasts, Guitars and Granola Bars. Let me tell you, I was so nervous! Not only was that my first time participating on a podcast, but it was also the first time I had been interviewed about my personal life. Of course, it didn’t help that I am very much an introvert (stay tuned for post on how that works in business ownership and a career that requires a lot of talking and connecting with new people), and was talking to someone who I look up to in the music therapy world as a fellow business owner. I had stepped pretty far outside of my comfort zone.
To be completely honest, it took me a week just to make myself listen to the interview after it was posted. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.
Rachel was wonderful to talk to, and I’m glad I took the opportunity to share my story. If you’d like to know about how I ended up as a music therapist and business owner, and the impact being a mom has made on my career, check out my interview below.
